As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you will be a key member of the team leading the growth of our new business in Latin America. We're building a world-class sales organisation, and the road ahead is going to be very exciting.
In this role, you'll be a key player in driving Intercom's growth and acquiring new clients within the LATAM region. You’ll have the chance to engage with top companies, generate new business opportunities, and make a significant impact on both regional and global business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving the acquisition of new clients and managing the full sales cycle (prospecting to closing) in the LATAM market
- Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, consistently prospecting to meet monthly and quarterly revenue goals
- Providing timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on revenue performance
- Staying updated on product knowledge and evolving processes
- Developing and delivering tailored product demos to address each client’s unique challenges and needs
- Taking a consultative approach to sales, identifying and addressing customer pain points while positioning our solutions as trusted partners
- Focusing on exceeding sales targets and demonstrating competitiveness
- Engaging in team development and mentoring
- Representing the voice of the customer to cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product)
- Contributing to the overall growth of the global Enterprise business, pioneering new best practices and driving projects to up level the team
- Adapting quickly to changes in market conditions, customer needs, and product updates
- Using creative problem-solving to overcome obstacles and close deals
- Leveraging sales tools and CRM software to track leads, progress, and activities
- Negotiating contract terms to close deals while maintaining healthy margins
- Exhibiting grit and determination to succeed, overcoming challenges and driving results
- Willingness to travel within the country to support client needs and business objectives
What skills do I need?
- 4+ years of experience as an Account Executive
- 2+ years of SaaS experience selling similar products
- Must be fluent in Portuguese; proficiency in Spanish is also a plus
- Strong sales instincts and track record hitting and exceeding quota
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Comfortable and energized operating and problem-solving in a fast-moving organisation, working inbound and outbound opportunities across a range of industries and company sizes
- Ability to close net new business in a competitive landscape
- Exhibits a growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and ambition

*Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
The OTE range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is $226,000-$270,000. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
