Description
We are seeking a Senior Hardware Compliance Engineer to join our Compliance team, specifically within the Qualification group responsible for NVIDIA hardware qualification processes and testing.
The ideal candidate will engage in equipment qualification tests focusing on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Safety testing, be able to learn new features, design and execute EMI debugs.
Responsibilities:
- Execute pre-compliance and compliance tests at NVIDIA EMC and Safety testing labs.
- Provide feedback on product performance and recommend remedies for non-compliances.
- Write test reports and debug summaries for testing performed in-house and at external labs.
- Assist in developing and overseeing test setups.
- Offer technical support, mentorship, and justifications related to testing processes and methodologies based on customer and industry regulations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Electronics Design Verification.
- Electrical Practical Engineer certificate or equivalent experience.
- Ability to analyze schematics and calculation summaries.
- Experience interfacing with various organizational levels.
- Capability to develop well-organized documentation related to testing and evaluations.
- Willingness to travel for on-site testing, oversight, and support.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work without constraints to accomplish critical tasks.
- Background with hands-on testing according to FCC/EN/CISPR standards.
- Prior experience with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Linux.
- Experience in RF.
- Background with Layout CAD tools.
