X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant

We are seeking an X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant to join our team at AVECINA in Orange Park. As an X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with x-ray procedures, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with x-ray procedures, including positioning patients and operating x-ray equipment
• Prepare patients for exams, including taking vital signs and explaining procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, including disinfecting equipment and disposing of biohazardous waste
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
