Director of Experience Design - EA App

Electronic Arts is seeking a Director of Experience Design to lead and evolve the design vision for the EA app, a central platform connecting millions of players to games, content, and community.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Director of Design and shape the end-to-end player experience across discovery, purchase, and engagement. They will lead a team of Product Designers and partner with Product Management, Engineering, User Research, Data, and Content Design to deliver intuitive, high-quality experiences at scale.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting the vision and direction for the EA app experience
• Leading and developing a team of Product Designers
• Partnering across disciplines to shape solutions grounded in insight and measurable impact
• Delivering high-quality experiences with a focus on usability, accessibility, and content clarity
• Influencing product outcomes using research, data, and experimentation

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10+ years of experience in product design, with 4+ years leading and managing design teams
• A track record of shipping consumer-facing digital products at scale
• A strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, interaction design, and high-quality execution
• Experience working closely with User Research, Data, and Content Design
• Experience with data-informed design, experimentation, and metrics-driven decision-making
• Experience designing complex platforms such as marketplaces or social platforms
