Description
We are looking for a Customer Sales Director to focus on an at-scale strategy to support, retain, and grow a mix of our Commercial and Enterprise customer base. This role is a hybrid-based role in Austin, Texas.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in SaaS sales or account management, with a proven track record of exceeding targets. They will be able to build a strategic plan to drive expansion in a portfolio of Commercial and Enterprise accounts, manage multiple sales cycles and customer campaigns targeting Analytics Engineering, Data Platform, and Data Governance personas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building a strategic plan to drive expansion in a portfolio of Commercial and Enterprise accounts
- Managing multiple sales cycles and customer campaigns targeting Analytics Engineering, Data Platform, and Data Governance personas
- Protecting renewals by monitoring account signals, deepening executive alignment, and helping customers realize consistent value
The successful candidate will have strong consultative selling skills, engaging effectively with both technical and business audiences. They will be proactive and organized, capable of independently managing a diverse book of business.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software, familiarity with dbt (core or Cloud) and the modern data stack, including platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks, experience with consumption and/or usage-based pricing structures, and experience with the MEDD(P)ICC sales methodology / Command of the Message.
