Description
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Spotify, you will be part of the User Platform (UP) studio, which is responsible for Customer Identity and Access Management at Spotify. Your primary focus will be on architecting and scaling the next generation of Business IAM, expanding our authorization platform in both depth and reach.
Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and deploying backend services and APIs that power Spotify's creator authorization systems. You will also collaborate with different cross-disciplined teams on complex problems, maintaining business-critical Spotify authorization systems, and embracing and promoting sound engineering practices.
We are looking for a problem solver who loves seeing things through from concept to production and is eager to learn whatever skills are needed along the way. You should have 5+ years of experience with Java, SQL, and ideally be familiar with React, Typescript, and Next.js. A collaborative teammate who values inclusion and open communication is essential for this role.
