Physical Therapist - Black Hills Ortho & Spine

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their team at Black Hills Ortho & Spine. The successful candidate will plan, organise, and deliver physical therapy programs to help patients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for patients affected by injury or disease
• Develop and implement therapeutic plans, modifying them as necessary
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and self-exercises to continue at home
• Utilise age-related treatments and evaluations relevant to patient needs
• Incorporate current research into daily patient treatment
• Document patient information according to departmental guidelines
• Meet all regulatory requirements
• Exhibit flexibility with variable work schedules and assignments
• Participate in departmental activities and promotion
• Interact with healthcare professionals, case managers, and third-party payers
• Supervise assistants, aides, and students as needed
• Provide ongoing education and training to peers

Requirements:

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice
• Valid driver's license when applicable
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment

Benefits:

• Competitive salary range: $35.00 - $52.00 per hour
• Full-time position with 40 scheduled weekly hours
• Day shift
