As a Consultant Specialist, you will provide IT project delivery, assist project managers on project planning, stakeholder communication, development, testing, release, and so on. You will lead or assist teammates to provide business & technical solutions fit for business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT project delivery and assist project managers on project planning, stakeholder communication, development, testing, release, and so on.
- Lead or assist teammates to provide business & technical solutions fit for business needs.
- Accountability for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey.
- Liaise with other teams, including architects, business stakeholders, and so on, to understand and drive the product or service's direction.
- Conduct end-to-end system tests, user acceptance tests, and provide support on system implementation.
- Ensure a high-quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.
- Prepare project-related documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years rich hands-on experience in development.
- Experience of delivering high-quality and complex system solutions.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Proven hands-on experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of front-end build tools and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices for front-end testing.
- Solid experience in CI/CD tools, such as GitHub, Maven, Groovy, Nexus, Jenkins.
- Knowledge and experience with Distributed systems, Micro-service architecture, and APIs.
- Knowledge and experience with relational database.
- Knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and toolings, etc).
- Able to work in Agile working model.
- Strong passion for technology and engineering.
