Responsibilities
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and deliver high-quality data products.
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data solutions spanning ingestion, transformation, modeling, and reporting layers.
- Develop and support scalable data pipelines using Fivetran, Snowflake, and dbt.
- Design and implement robust dimensional and analytical data models that support trusted reporting and analytics.
- Build, optimize, and maintain semantic models within Power BI to enable scalable self-service analytics.
- Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, visualizations, and DAX measures that turn business requirements into actionable insights.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and performance across the analytics ecosystem.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to establish best practices for data architecture and data management.
- Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, warehouse performance, reporting models, and dashboard solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of Synopsys' modern data platform and analytics capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, BI Engineering, Data Architecture, or related fields.
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Snowflake
- dbt
- Fivetran
- Power BI
- SQL (expert-level proficiency)
- Strong experience with:
- Dimensional modeling
- Semantic modeling
- Data warehouse architecture
- Data modeling best practices
- Experience designing and implementing end-to-end data solutions from source ingestion through dashboard delivery.
- Proven experience building Power BI semantic models, writing DAX measures, and developing reports and dashboards.
- Strong understanding of data quality, governance, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
