Charge Nurse - Urgent Care

We are seeking a Charge Nurse to lead our Urgent Care team in Greensboro, North Carolina. As a Charge Nurse, you will provide primary leadership in the coordination of nursing care with other healthcare disciplines and facilitate the integration of services across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership for a specified clinic location or locations
• Collaborate with PLAC and the rapid response team to facilitate appropriate and timely patient placement when necessary
• Promote a culture of safety for patients, self, co-workers, and facility
• Ensure care is delivered with respect for patients' rights and preferences
• Monitor staffing and supplies, and assure nursing workload is measured and resources are allocated based on patient needs and visit volumes
• Foster relationships that support the continuous enhancement of care delivery and patient and staff satisfaction
• Demonstrate value for professional nursing practice, including the utilization of current standards, the nursing process, and patient advocacy

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with two years' acute care nursing experience required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of North Carolina required
• Excellent and effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to organize and supervise clinical nursing care delivery
• Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
