Description
We're seeking a patient-focused Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at Team Rehab, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with the ultimate goal of having them recover from injuries, manage pain, and regain mobility. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating new patients, developing plans of care, treating patients, setting measurable, functional goals, and educating patients on treatment options and home exercises.
You will also supervise aides when providing modalities for non-Medicare, non-BCBSM patients, monitor and re-evaluate patient progress, revise plans of care and reset goals when needed, address pain management, determine when to discharge patients, teach patients proper mechanics, ergonomics, and strategies to reduce future incidents, and write timely and accurate documentation.
As a Physical Therapist at Team Rehab, you will be expected to achieve a reasonable level of productivity, participate in research studies, give input on policies, procedures, and strategy, handle patient feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, and continue to develop your skills by staying updated in the latest research and techniques.
