At Ford Mexico, we're seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as an Accounts Payable Analyst. This role involves ensuring the integrity of our global payment processes and leading the charge in implementing AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency. You will work closely with internal departments and global suppliers to resolve complex discrepancies and execute precise reconciliations of supplier and transit accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement AI tools (RPA, advanced OCR, and predictive analytics) to automate workflows and eliminate manual errors.
  • Oversee the end-to-end invoice lifecycle, ensuring strict compliance with tax and accounting regulations.
  • Develop advanced dashboards and KPIs (DPO, timeliness, volume) to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Act as a strategic point of contact for internal departments and global suppliers, resolving complex discrepancies with agility.
  • Execute precise reconciliations of supplier and transit accounts to ensure flawless monthly and quarterly closings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in AP/Accounting, with a proven interest in integrating AI and programming into financial workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT for data analysis, Copilot) and automation platforms (UiPath or Power Automate).
  • High proficiency in Excel (complex formulas and data modeling) and basic knowledge of Power BI for visualization.
  • Intermediate English. Portuguese preferred to collaborate effectively with our global teams.
