Description

As a SAP Authorization Consultant at MHP, you will support SAP Authorizations activities within SAP S/4HANA projects. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing user administration activities, including user creation, user lifecycle management, and access changes
  • Designing, maintaining, and optimizing SAP roles and authorizations based on business requirements
  • Supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, and support projects across on-premise and cloud environments
  • Handling incidents, service requests, and change requests using the ITSM tool
  • Providing second- and third-level support for SAP authorization-related topics
  • Maintaining authorization documentation and supporting change management activities
  • Collaborating with business users and cross-functional teams to ensure secure and compliant access management

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good knowledge of SAP Roles & Authorizations concepts, including hands-on experience with PFCG and SUIM
  • Experience analyzing and resolving authorization issues using tools such as SU53, SUIM, and STAUTHTRACE
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA authorization and user administration activities

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

  • Experience working in IT Service Management environments
  • Experience with the XAMS Suite
  • Basic understanding of SAP Fiori role design and authorization concepts
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP authorization concepts and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud security

In terms of soft skills, you should have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical security concepts to different stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Continuous learning mindset and willingness to develop new technical skills
  • Team-oriented approach with strong collaboration skills
  • Adaptability to changing priorities, project requirements, and business needs
