Senior Recruiter

Shield AI is seeking a highly consultative Senior Recruiter to support its international expansion across APJ. This is a business-critical role that involves designing adaptable, data-informed hiring strategies to support engineering and commercial growth.

As a Senior Recruiter, you will:

• Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for priority APJ roles, including senior, niche, and hard-to-hire positions
• Design and execute regional sourcing strategies to attract exceptional engineering and go-to-market talent
• Tailor hiring approaches to local market realities while upholding Shield AI's global hiring bar
• Act as an APJ ambassador for Shield AI's employer brand, ensuring the company is positioned as a top employer across the region
• Use data to forecast hiring needs, monitor pipelines, and optimize recruitment performance at scale
• Partner with the broader international team, including the APJ and EMEA Talent Acquisition team, the global sourcing team, and talent coordination team

The ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated experience driving full-cycle hiring for engineers and go-to-market teams in a high-growth tech environment (aerospace, defense, robotics, or deep tech preferred)
• Proven success supporting new market entries and scaling teams across multiple APJ countries
• Deep understanding of APJ talent landscapes, including sourcing strategies, cultural considerations, and competitive nuances
• Consultative, commercially-minded, and comfortable operating with ambiguity and evolving business needs
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence leaders across regions
