Senior Financial Analyst – SAP and Accounting

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the implementation and integration of the iERP system with SAP S/4HANA in South America. After the implementation phase, the successful candidate will join the Finance team to support regional financial operations, utilising their technical expertise to ensure operational excellence and financial accuracy.

The position is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in a hybrid model (four days on-site and one day remote).

Responsibilities:

Implementation Phase:

• Provide technical and functional support for the integration of the iERP system with the SAP S/4HANA platform.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in accounting standards, ensuring that accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) configurations comply with corporate policies and local regulations.
• Lead technical meetings and steering committees, managing stakeholders across different time zones (USA, India, and South America).
• Map current and future financial processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency in the SAP ecosystem.
• Ensure change management, supporting South American business units during transition, ensuring data accuracy and user readiness.

Operational Phase:

• Transition to the Finance organization to support financial and accounting regional functions.
• Provide support for daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regional regulations.
• Utilize technical knowledge of the system to support monthly closing activities and maintain data integrity within the ERP.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (active CRC or equivalent preferred).
• Deep knowledge of corporate accounting, financial reporting, and end-to-end PTR (Plan to Report) and STP (Source to Pay) cycles.
• Proven experience as a Key User or team member in SAP implementation/migration projects (preferably S/4HANA).
• Fluent English: essential for participating in meetings and collaborating with global teams in the USA and India.
• Basic Spanish: required for reporting to regional management in Argentina and supporting South American operations.
• Project management experience: demonstrated autonomy and leadership skills to lead initiatives independently.
• Desired (Innovation): knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and familiarity with Python or other automation tools.
