As a Software Engineer on our Battlespace Awareness team, you will contribute to developing state-of-the-art algorithms and software solutions with real-world applications. You will work in small, innovative teams to build solutions that make a tangible impact. Your work will involve ensuring our technology is successfully deployed in mission-critical systems, making a difference for our government and industry customers.
What You Will Do
- Contribute your expertise and ideas to guide a small team's direction
- Prototype cutting-edge software solutions in an agile development environment
- Implement high-performance software for tactical systems and web applications
- Utilize high-fidelity modeling and simulation environments, along with innovative analysis tools and techniques, to quantify the benefits of our technology
- Collaborate with customers to ensure successful outcomes for their mission-critical needs
- Engage across all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers about your work and its significance
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or another technical field (advanced degree preferred)
- Proficiency in:
+ Programming languages: C/C++, Python, and Matlab + Big data/NoSQL/database technologies + Software engineering principles: software design, algorithm implementation, software analysis, testing, and optimization + Machine learning: supervised and unsupervised learning, clustering, and classification + Applied mathematics: differential equations, linear algebra, optimization, statistics, and random processes + Engineering: controls, estimation theory, and digital signal processing
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $165,000-$218,000 USD per year. We also offer highly competitive equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package, including top-tier benefits for full-time employees.
