Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will develop holistic reporting solutions for PME using Microsoft Power BI, including data cleaning and preparation (Power Query), and the creation and maintenance of visually insightful dashboards and reports for decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include performing data consolidation, modelling, and integration across multiple systems and sources, building unified reporting platforms, developing models for reporting, predictive analysis and simulations, and maintaining a comprehensive data dictionary.
You will gather, validate, and document reporting requirements by collaborating with PME and PAG stakeholders, ensuring accurate capture of data needs and translating business KPIs into structured data use cases.
To ensure data quality and optimisation, you will implement automated data quality checks (including AI-based solutions), improve data pipeline efficiency and performance, and support data governance and user management.
You will maintain clear documentation of development processes, data models, and reporting specifications, while providing end-user training and support for reporting solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or other relevant field of education.
You should have initial experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence, including internships, academic projects, or relevant coursework.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Power BI, with experience in building dashboards and data visualisations, is required.
A foundational understanding of data modelling, data structures, and reporting concepts, with basic knowledge of SQL or similar data tools, is essential.
Exposure to Python is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with curiosity to explore data and derive insights is necessary.
High attention to detail with strong focus on data accuracy, along with the ability to structure and present information clearly in visual and verbal formats, is required.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and engage effectively with stakeholders in a collaborative environment are essential.
