Registered Nurse (RN), Wound Care Clinical Lead

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN), Wound Care Clinical Lead to join our team at Lexington Medical Center - Wound Management in Lexington, NC. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a vital role in providing professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the ambulatory, outpatient, and Medical group practice settings.

Responsibilities:

• Make daily clinical assignments based on staff availability and practice needs
• Assess clinical competence of teammates and provide information to the manager regarding clinical issues
• Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage of clinical supplies, equipment, and medications
• Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses or issues
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation
• Develop a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes
• Implement the identified plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of work and residence
• BSN preferred
• Certification in Nursing Specialty Preferred
• BLS required per policy guidelines

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk, stand, sit, lift, reach, stoop, bend, push, and pull
• Must be able to lift and support 35 pounds
• Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch, and finger dexterity
• Critical thinking and ability to concentrate
