Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: IWPB Technology

Principal responsibilities:

• Provide IT project delivery end to end, including impact analysis, design, coding, testing support and release.
• Be accountable for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey.
• Liaise with other teams, including architects and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service’s direction.
• Ensure adherence to high-quality standards and procedures, and risk management.
• Ensure proper documentation as per the quality standards.
• Check system/code logic to trace and solve batch/online issues.
• Continuously fine-tune and develop CI/CD pipelines to enable safer, more automated releases.

Requirements:

• University graduate with a degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years’ experience in IT with solid knowledge of application development and support.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English.
• Technical capability: continuously upgrade and learn various technologies required for successful project delivery.
• Knowledge and experience with distributed systems, micro-service architecture and APIs.
• Solid domain knowledge of lending is preferred.
• Knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, test automation and tooling, etc.).
• Ability to work in an Agile working model.
• Familiarity with Java/Springboot, Javascript.
• Team player; multi-tasking; good interpersonal skills; troubleshooting ability and testing skills; organised self-starter.
