If you're ready to change the way the world moves, join us at BlueOval Battery Park Michigan. As a Senior Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be a key part of the launch team that will help bring the electrification revolution to driveways, job sites, and highways everywhere.

In this role, you'll lead a dedicated hourly team, fostering an environment where they can do their best work and feel empowered. You'll be responsible for safety, operational excellence, strategic focus, team leadership, data-driven decision making, continuous improvement, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and insights to strike down downtime and quality defects, driving quantifiable improvements in efficiency and quality
  • Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance: Maintain a relentless focus on identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, improving processes, and driving innovation to enhance productivity, quality, and safety
  • Conflict Resolution & Interpersonal Relationships: Proactively address and mediate conflicts fairly and effectively, facilitating mutually acceptable solutions
  • Accountability & Fairness: Champion accountability, managing both your own performance and that of the hourly workforce regarding processes and standards
  • Maintenance Work Planning & Scheduling: Lead the detailed development, coordination, and control of maintenance and project work packages to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution
  • Coordination & Data Management: Coordinate multi-discipline work planning activities across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control (I&C), and facility workstreams
  • Compliance & Operational Support: Apply formal change management protocols to address scope, schedule, or resource deviations while maintaining configuration control

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, military, or other relevant experience
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
  • Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls

Even better, you may have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or a related technical field
  • Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodology and / or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) Experience
  • Strong working knowledge and proficiency with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (e.g., Maximo, SAP PM, any maintenance scheduling)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in maintenance work planning within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, including cost estimation, earned value, scheduling logic, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and FMEA processes
  • Prior experience in a facility start-up or new equipment commissioning environment
  • Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
  • Knowledge of constraint management principles
