Director, Business Development, Advanced Effects (International)

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.

The Business Development (BD) team, with the Air Dominance and Strike Division, is responsible for identifying, shaping, capturing, and growing new opportunities and capabilities for the company.

The Advanced Effects Business Line is looking for a high initiative, collaborative individual to join the team as the International Advanced Effects lead for the Air Dominance and Strike Division.

Responsibilities

• Generate and capture International Advanced Effects opportunities, involving significant international travel, trade show coordination, and deep understanding of country-specific budget cycles.
• Develop capture strategies, providing cohesive business plans and execution models that outline acquisition plans and drive towards program of record execution.
• Drive product development and program transition, representing key design trades for partner nation-specific design trades.
• Grow existing business, partnering with execution teams and product engineers to grow business with current clients.
• Communicate Anduril's value to clients, projecting the company's ethos and conveying insights that illustrate its approach to building next-generation defense technology.

Required Qualifications

• Prior acquisition or operational experience with missile systems across surface fires, air-launched effects, and air defense domains.
• Prior experience working with foreign militaries or ministries of defense, with emphasis on current operational needs and relationships across key allies in Europe and Asia.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior executives and customers.
• Ability to travel up to 50% – 75%.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience shaping and leading capture efforts in the defense industry.
• Prior experience working with FMS/DCS and direct international customers, with a strong understanding of FMS/DCS processes.
• High ownership and ability to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, and creative environment.
• Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
