CAD/CAM Programmer

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD/CAM Programmer to join our team in Faenza, Italy. As a CAD/CAM Programmer, you will be responsible for designing and manufacturing control equipment and templates using CAD software to design products and CAM software to program and guide machine tool operations.

Responsibilities:

• Programming CAD/CAM for 5-axis CNC machines for mechanical processing based on technical drawings provided by the technical office.
• Supporting production operators in machine operation as needed.
• Developing tool paths for producing moulds, models, equipment, and various parts.
• Constant comparison with CNC operators to optimise work cycles and tool utilisation.
• Designing moulds for mechanical processing.

Requirements:

• At least 4-5 years of experience in the role, preferably in metalworking companies.
• Good knowledge of machine tools and work centres.
• Proficiency in Hypermill and Siemens NX software.
• Knowledge of composite materials and various mechanical processing methods.
• Mental flexibility and adaptability.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to technological evolution and continuous updating.
• Sense of responsibility and respect for delivery deadlines.
• Availability to work shifts, including night shifts if necessary.
