Automated Machine Operator 2nd shift (rocker mill)

We are seeking an Automated Machine Operator for our 2nd shift (rocker mill) team at Multimatic in Butler, Indiana. As an Automated Machine Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, operating and maintaining machinery, and performing troubleshooting and repairs as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
• Follow all established company policies and procedures
• Perform all functions of machine operation, setup, and changeover
• Keep all machines in good working order and provide thorough and clear communication to your supervisor
• Review process book daily for new quality or process changes and implement any changes or countermeasures
• Perform welding, loading new coils, and making tooling adjustments as needed
• Troubleshoot and perform minor machine and tool repair, and preventative maintenance
• Assist skilled trades and other automated machine operators with troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain accurate and real-time production and quality reporting
• Ensure all equipment logs are filled out and accurate
• Participate in corrective action or continuous improvement activities
• Operate a forklift at level 4 or above
• Perform loading, unloading, and assembly operations as required
• Train future individuals in this position
