Description
A UK Meritocracy Fellowship is being launched by Palantir to cultivate exceptional talent, regardless of background, based purely on merit and academic excellence. Sixth form graduates will be invited to interview, and select applicants will receive a Meritocracy Fellowship. Those that excel will obtain offers to join Palantir full time.
The programme begins with a period of exploration, where fellows immerse themselves in rigorous debate and open exchange of ideas through curated readings and seminars with leading experts. This lays the intellectual foundation before joining forward-deployed engineering or internal software teams.
As a fellow, you will work alongside Forward Deployed Engineers and Software Developers to build software and deliver customer outcomes. Challenges will require a curious and analytical approach, a sharp intuition for product, and a strong degree of user insight. Weekly learning sessions and site visits will also be part of the experience.
We value high agency, autonomy, and maturity, as well as extraordinary ability to confront open-ended and ambiguous problems. We look for adaptive and introspective individuals who are willing to learn, guide, lead, and follow. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential, as well as experience with programming, scripting, or statistical packages.
To be eligible, you must have A Levels certificate of graduation at the start of the internship, and not have previously earned an undergraduate degree or be simultaneously enrolled in university classes.
