As a Principal Software Engineer, you will oversee and deliver full features, covering design, architecture, implementation, testing, debugging, and deployment. You will deliver high-quality results with full ownership and take the product to the next level. You will lead design and code reviews to maintain high quality. You will focus on live site and operational excellence. You will align the team's engineering strategy with organisational goals and adhere to best practices. You will develop high-quality cloud-based solutions using an agile methodology. You will comply with security, accessibility, GDPR, and performance standards. You will proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.

The Candidate we're looking for
Experience:
- 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in C/C++, C# or Java.
- Experience in guiding or mentoring a team of engineers.
Personal attributes:
- Great problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Well-versed with DevOps practices.
- Excellent communicator, capable of building and maintaining relationships with various Microsoft teams.
