Responsibilities
- Deploy state-of-the-art AI models for mobile manipulation, built in-house, on real robots
- Architect and optimise data pipelines for cutting-edge robotics model training on massive datasets
- Set up and maintain fleets of robots of various types
- Conduct experiments and validate robotic systems in real-world environments
- Interact and learn from all Mistral's engineers and researchers
Requirements
- You have hands-on experience developing software for real-world robotics
- Mastery of Python and proven experience as a developer
- You have high engineering competence. This means being able to design complex software and make it usable in production
- You are a self-starter, autonomous and a team player
- You have a proactive approach with a 'get things done' spirit
- You are flexible and adaptable to collaborate effectively with other engineers and researchers
Nice to Have
- Experience in building and deploying AI systems on real physical robots
- Experience with hardware development, mechanical and CAD design, and 3D printing
- Experience with robotics simulators
- Experience with maintaining large, high-quality code bases
- Proficiency in coding for robotic control, such as ROS
- Hands-on experience with sensor integration and actuator control
- Knowledge of control theory, machine learning, or computer vision as applied to robotics
