Description
As a Senior CAD Engineer at NVIDIA, you will be part of an Agile and multi-functional EDA software development team. Your primary responsibility will be to participate in the development of tools that enable industry-leading PCB electrical design, physical layout, and SI capabilities for our system designers throughout the company.
In this role, you will assess the requirements from the design community, build innovative solutions that continually improve our tools and processes. You will also be responsible for leadership, technical expertise, and mentoring junior engineers.
We are looking for a highly skilled engineer with a proven history of delivering EDA/ECAD solutions using Cadence System Capture and SPB Allegro Layout. You should have experience with Cadence SKILL or other CAD-level programming languages, system design, and hierarchical sub-design.
Additionally, you should be familiar with automation within common operating systems (Windows/Linux) and experienced with databases (e.g., Oracle/MySQL/MongoDB). Proficiency in Python and TCL is also required.
If you have experience in the Cadence' System Capture TCL API, teamwork environment based on JIRA, Confluence, Git, CI, Perforce, and knowledge/experience with PLM systems, it's a plus!
