Description
We're looking for an experienced leader to head a team of talented data scientists focused on the Marketing & Business Development domain. As a Data Science Senior Manager, you will lead a team that is crucial to Reddit's user growth strategy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing team of data scientists focused on the Marketing & Business Development domain
- Driving strategy and communicating with cross-functional leaders to shape the roadmap and strategy for Reddit
- Delivering causal insights to quantify the true incremental lift of marketing spend and prevent budget allocation on non-incremental channels
- Standardizing measurement frameworks to evaluate Brand Initiatives and ensure consistent metrics are aligned across the organization
- Driving adoption of strategic and tactical recommendations based on deep product experience and data understanding
Required qualifications include:
- Experience in driving product strategy and roadmaps through analytics
- Leadership experience as a people manager, leading a team of up to 10 data scientists
- Expertise in causal inference, A/B testing experimentation, metric definition and governance, and product strategy
- Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical people
- Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for hands-on analysis
