Description
We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our team at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering sourcing activities, executing RFx processes, and supporting negotiations.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver sourcing activities in line with project timelines and budgets
- Execute RFx processes, including preparation of documentation, bid evaluation support, and supplier coordination
- Support negotiations and assist in the placement of purchase orders and contracts
- Ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority, Operational Approval Matrix, and procurement governance standards
- Maintain accurate supplier records, documentation, and procurement trackers
- Support supplier performance monitoring and issue resolution
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support project delivery
- Ensure procurement data accuracy and provide regular updates to the senior procurement team
Core Competencies:

- Stakeholder Engagement – Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Attention to Detail – High level of accuracy in documentation and reporting
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a procurement or buying role, preferably within indirect procurement in an automotive environment
- Exposure to RFx processes and supplier engagement
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
Desirable Qualifications:
- Progress towards, or interest in, a CIPS qualification
- Experience in facilities, construction, or capital project environments
- Experience within automotive or advanced manufacturing environments
Location:
- Based at the McLaren Technology Centre (MTC), Woking, Surrey. Hybrid working is available, with a minimum of three days per week onsite. Occasional travel may be required, primarily within the UK, with potential for European travel.
