Description

We're looking for a skilled Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operation of a Parts Distribution Centre. As a champion of workplace safety, you'll proactively enforce regulations and foster a culture of vigilance. You'll lead and direct a team of employees to consistently make high-quality products and meet or exceed production targets.

Your responsibilities will include: Acting as a champion of workplace safety, proactively enforcing regulations and fostering a culture of vigilance Leading and directing a team of employees to consistently make high-quality products and meet or exceed production targets Prioritizing critical tasks and effectively allocating human resources to maximize efficiency Applying for a 'Bias for Action,' promptly and decisively addressing safety and quality issues to prevent larger problems Embracing a servant leadership style, focusing on building high-performing, winning teams and investing in their growth Utilizing data and insights to strike down downtime and quality defects, driving quantifiable improvements in efficiency and quality Maintaining a relentless focus on identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, improving processes, and driving innovation to enhance productivity, quality, and safety Championing accountability, managing both your own performance and that of the hourly workforce regarding processes and standards Actively listening to and valuing the perspectives of all team members and other department stakeholders Collaborating with team members, the union, and management to continuously improve everything

To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent 7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, military, or other relevant experience A proven track record of leading large-scale process improvements or cultural shifts Ability to work rotating shifts/hours, including nights and weekends Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodology is a plus Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) Experience or equivalent is a plus
