Description
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will collaborate with relevant departments on procurement requirements and provide support in the procure-to-pay process. This includes the tender process, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders. You will also manage the procurement system, streamlining processes in accordance with overall directives, procurement policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards. Additionally, you will utilise spend analytics to identify spend data, optimise costs, and provide insights to enhance decision-making.
In terms of risk management, you will manage operational risk processes, including risk recording, testing of effectiveness, and staff training, in accordance with the group framework and reporting requirements. You will also facilitate the development and implementation of business continuity plans and coordinate communication with relevant departments and head office in the event of risk triggers.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business or a related field, with 2-3 years of working experience in a related field, preferably in indirect procurement. You will require strong structural, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as sound knowledge in procurement, risk management, and design of internal control systems. You will also need to be able to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines, and be a good team player willing to work in a multicultural environment.
