Intern - Development of Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)

We are offering you the opportunity to work on exciting projects related to ADAS at our Wolfsburg location as an intern or student worker for 6 months. You will work in a dynamic and highly motivated team.

Your tasks:

• Support the development and validation of ADAS functions
• Assist in integrating sensors (radar, camera, lidar, ultrasonic) into test vehicles
• Prepare, conduct, and evaluate test drives and campaigns
• Commission and maintain measurement technology and data acquisition systems
• Perform measurements according to defined test cases and catalogues
• Analyse and evaluate measurement data (e.g., CAN, raw sensor data, object lists)
• Support the creation, maintenance, and automation of evaluation tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
• Contribute to the validation and verification of ADAS functions
• Create technical documentation, test reports, and presentations
• Assist in error analysis and cause assessment (debugging)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (software, system, testing, customer)

Requirements:

• Current studies in vehicle engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, or similar
• Basic knowledge of driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automotive systems
• Initial experience with measurement technology, vehicle testing, or data analysis is beneficial
• Knowledge of one or more tools is desirable:
• Basic understanding of sensors, vehicle networking (CAN, Ethernet)
• Structured, analytical, and independent working style
• Teamwork, strong communication skills, and high willingness to learn
• Good German and English language skills
• Driving licence class B is advantageous
