Description
We're seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as an Assistant Controller. As a key member of our finance team, you will own accounting and financial operations, overseeing our books, leading the monthly close process, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
This is a hands-on role, with the opportunity to build and lead a team over time. You will partner with the leadership team to support on any fundraising initiatives and drive audit readiness and execution by serving as primary point of contact for external auditors.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, CPA certification, and 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in high-growth startups/tech companies.
In addition to your technical skills, you will need strong cross-functional collaboration skills, the ability to clearly explain financial/accounting details to other stakeholders, and a builder's mindset – you think and operate like a founder, you don't wait for permission to make an impact.
The combined base + bonus compensation range for this role is $185,000 - $225,000 + competitive equity.
