Senior Engineer, Test Development

We are seeking a Senior Engineer, Test Development to join our team in Shanghai. As a Senior Engineer, you will independently design, architect, and own end-to-end test automation solutions and frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Independently design, architect, and own end-to-end test automation solutions and frameworks.
• Lead full-stack development of enterprise-grade test platforms (backend, APIs, database, frontend/UI).
• Define roadmap and lead development/optimization of enterprise-grade test tool chains (CI/CD, simulation, orchestration, reporting, analytics).
• Drive AI tool development from concept to production: AI-driven test generation, self-healing automation, intelligent diagnostics.
• Evaluate new technologies, conduct PoCs, and propose technical strategies for the team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (dev, product, infra, global sites) to align quality and tooling standards.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive best practices and quality gates.
• Resolve complex incidents and provide expert-level support to remote/global teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, EE or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Skilled in Python, Java, MySQL, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins.
• Proven experience in test automation, with ability to own full-stack solutions independently.
• Deep experience in test platform and toolchain design/development at scale.
• Hands-on experience building AI-assisted testing tools and integrating ML into engineering workflows.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin language, German is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer.
• Willingness to travel.
