Description
We are seeking a temporary robot pilot to join our new data collection initiative in Mexico City. As a robot pilot, you will use a virtual reality headset to remotely control robotic arms, performing tasks such as packing and moving objects. Your movements will generate high-quality training data that will be used to teach AI models to operate autonomously. You will work under the supervision of a local team leader in our Mexico City office.
Key responsibilities:
- Spend most of your working hours using a virtual reality headset (Meta Quest) to control a robotic arm and perform repetitive physical tasks (e.g., packing sponges or moving boxes).
- Follow precise instructions to ensure consistent and accurate data collection.
- Commit to full attendance during scheduled weeks, as continuous data flow is critical for these specific test waves.
- Report any hardware or connection issues to your on-site supervisor immediately.
Requirements:
- Ability to use virtual reality headsets for extended periods (several hours a day), with scheduled breaks to ensure visual and physical comfort.
- Availability to report to our Mexico City office during assigned weekdays.
- Ability to maintain high levels of concentration while performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to follow strict operational flows without deviations.
Desirable requirements:
- Previous experience with video games or simulations in virtual reality.
- Experience in factories, assembly lines, or data capture roles where consistency is key.
Benefits:
- $3,500 per week for full-time work
- Performance bonus
- Contract for the month of June
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
