Electrical & Special Systems Design Team Leader

The Electrical & Special Systems Design Team Leader will report to the Head of Engineering and lead the Electrical & Special Systems Design Team, coordinating project activities, and contributing directly to the electrical design of industrial systems for engine and vehicle testing facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Electrical and Special Systems Design Team
• Coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with project objectives
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and resource planning
• Ensure proper implementation of internal processes and engineering standards
• Design electrical and special systems for engine and vehicle testing facilities
• Prepare technical documentation, including: technical reports; technical specifications and tender documents; cost estimates and bills of quantities
• Develop electrical single-line diagrams
• Produce layout drawings and system plans
• Perform calculations and system sizing

Profile:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial plant/electrical system design
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma as an Electrical Technician
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Solid understanding of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., Low Voltage, EMC, Machinery Directive, ATEX)
• Availability for short business trips within Italy and occasional international travel
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Dynamic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• English language knowledge (from good to advanced)

• Experience with Progetto Integra software
• Experience with DiaLux software
• Experience with Eplan P8
• Experience with TNE software
• Knowledge of Performance Level calculation tools
• Familiarity with PLC-based systems
• Registration to Professional Association
