Reliability Design Associate (Fall 2026)

Astranis builds advanced satellites for high orbits, expanding humanity's reach into the solar system.

As a Reliability Design Associate (Fall 2026), you will perform reliability analyses on satellite systems, work with the reliability design team to analyze flight hardware, support DFMEA efforts, and write code to help evaluate performance and automate testing of satellite hardware.

Requirements:

• Have a four-year degree in electrical or computer engineering or physics (or equivalent technical degree)
• Interest in learning about, designing, and working with electronics systems
• A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch
• US Citizenship or Green Card

Bonus skills:

• Experience with agentic AI systems
• Experience with SPICE-based simulators (LTSpice, PSPICE, ADS, etc)
• Familiarity with standard EE lab bench (power supply, oscilloscope, multimeter, etc)
• Experience with Python

The base salary for this position is $1,925 per week.
