Physical Therapist - Therapy

Aspirus Medford Hospital in Medford, WI is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Therapy team. This position is eligible for a $20,000 sign on bonus.

The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy to patients, evaluates, establishes treatment plans, and goals of treatment, and provides for and/or supervises the administration of treatment modalities/procedures. The role also incorporates patient and family education and requires documentation for all of the above.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and establish treatment plans
• Provide physical therapy to patients
• Incorporate patient and family education
• Document treatment plans and progress

Requirements:

• Knowledge of physical therapy standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a minimum of a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from a school of Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
• Current Wisconsin licensure to practice Physical Therapy required
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire

Hours: 1.0 FTE/80 hours every two weeks working days, Monday-Friday. Occasional weekend & holiday rotation may be required.
