Description

As a Data Scientist on the Publishing Insights and Markets team, you will work alongside data engineers, scientists, and analysts in Asia and globally, to perform quantitative analysis of internal and external data sets and play an important role in the building and maintenance of statistical and ML models that can be used to recommend actions that improve player experiences.

You will help identify opportunities that exist in our important markets, create a better understanding on what drives player and market behaviours, analyse data and build trend detection tools/dashboards to help EA reach our future ambitions.

Key responsibilities include expanding, enhancing, and maintaining existing segmentation models to create customer personas for our priority games and markets, performing thorough testing and validation of models to maintain accuracy of output, exploring first and third-party datasets to conduct quantitative analysis that identifies relevant metrics and surfaces unseen trends to help inform decisions for the team, and contributing to the automation of distributed reports using these data science outputs.

Requirements include a tertiary education in the field of Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience, 2+ years or more experience in a data science role with experience using programming languages like Python or R, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
