We work worldwide to deliver a broad range of linguistic, testing, quality assurance, and customer support services to Video Game Developers and Publishers.
The German Game Linguist role is to translate from English into German in game content. This role requires excellent language skills, creativity, and a passion for Games.
This position is In-house working on a client-specific project expected to last 1 year, with potential for longer commitment. The role requires working at our Keywords office for the full duration of the project. Our office is located at Parque empresarial 22@, Carrer de Fluvià, 65, Sant Martí, Barcelona, Spain.
Responsibilities
- Translate, review, and polish in-game and non-in-game content from English into German, maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Own the linguistic quality of your work, ensuring every line sounds natural, engaging, and true to the game's world.
- Collaborate closely with fellow linguists to deliver consistent and player-friendly translations.
Requirements
- Native-level German speaker (a must!)
- A genuine passion for video games and storytelling.
- Background in linguistics, translation, or copywriting , or equivalent experience.
- Excellent German writing style with strong English skills.
- A self-motivated problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- A collaborative spirit with strong interpersonal skills.
