Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE)

As an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) with Palantir, you will be responsible for maintaining secure, resilient, and compliant IT environments in the US Government space. You will balance compliance requirements with functionality, ensuring our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and supports mission-critical DoD operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Bridging engineering and compliance collaboration to address technical and regulatory requirements
• Scaling our infrastructure by creatively implementing automated solutions
• Collaborating with ISSMs, Engineers, FSOs, and business stakeholders to provide consistent solutions
• Integrating new hardware and software technologies into our USG infrastructure
• Managing relationships with upstream vendors and sponsors
• Applying STIGs/SRGs to operating systems and applications, ensuring compliance with DoD standards
• Managing our SIEM to build reports and visualizations
• Managing DoD cybersecurity tools

We require:

• Active US TOP SECRET security clearance
• Intermediate level foundational certification ISSM(722)
• Active Computing Environmental certification
• At least 1 year's experience in a technical role at an accredited USG facility
• Demonstrated proficiency in Windows administration tasks and automation tools

The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $174,000/year, and total compensation may include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus, and other potential future incentives.
