Description

We are looking for a motivated system software engineer with a deep understanding of device drivers who has phenomenal C/C++ skills. You will be an integral part of a team that delivers features and improvements to better realise the potential of NVIDIA hardware for a growing range of computational workloads, ranging from deep learning, scientific computation, data science and self-driving cars to video games and virtual reality.

As a member of our team, you will use your design abilities, coding expertise, and creativity to deliver the best compute platform in the world. You will craft elegant solutions to exciting problems and shape the future direction of CUDA as you collaborate with your peers across NVIDIA.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evangelizing, architecting, and implementing new features
  • Coordinating and driving development efforts across multiple teams
  • Helping define forward-looking improvements to the CUDA APIs and programming model
  • Writing effective, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Developing code for multiple operating systems

We are looking for someone with a strong background in C and C++ programming, with a minimum of 7 years of related development experience. You should have experience driving projects across multiple teams, working with large codebases, and writing and debugging multithreaded programs.

Prior experience with parallel computing, system level architecture, memory coherence and consistency models, and kernel mode development would be a plus.
