Description
The Mid-Level Service & Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating, and repairing AVL products at customer sites. They will provide professional and customer-oriented services according to defined processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and services through feedback collection and sharing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to customer satisfaction by performing activities reliably, providing adequate support, and clear communication
- Supporting profitability by applying standard procedures effectively
- Contributing to Service business growth by identifying cross-selling opportunities
- Strengthening AVL's market position by following instructions and providing structured feedback
- Preparing and supporting activity planning under supervision
- Verifying system installations and security chains according to defined instructions
- Performing chain calibration and preventive or corrective maintenance as indicated
- Documenting results using predefined templates and archiving system configurations with support
- Supporting system handover to customers together with the Project Leader
- Recording activities performed in CESAR or FSM under supervision
- Reporting quality issues observed to support future improvements
- Supporting analysis and management of customer requests under supervision
- Providing basic feedback on observations related to customers and products
- Performing activities in accordance with received training and available documentation
The ideal candidate will have a diploma in mechanical, mechatronic, or electronic engineering, 5-6 years of professional experience, and good knowledge of English. They should also have an attention to detail, precision in execution, and good troubleshooting and analysis skills.
Nice-to-have skills include experience in installing and updating AVL software tools such as PUMA, CAMEO, INDICOM, and CONCERTO, familiarity with creating and managing e-cases within assistance processes, and knowledge of ASAM/ASAP standards.
