Description
We are looking for an experienced technical writer to join our Deployments Tech Writing team. As a Technical Writer on our Fury Team, you will take ownership of Technical Data Module development and delivery, providing accurate, updated and easy-to-understand documentation on how to use Anduril products.
Your mission is to make the process of learning how to operate systems as easy and seamless as possible, with exceptionally written and presented artefacts. You will work closely with engineers, operations and various subject matter experts as well as Government representatives, to understand our products, identify user workflows, and use documentation to close the gap.
You will generate, review and edit s1000d data modules in Siemens Rapid Author, and work with Engineering and Operations to deliver task, conditions, standard-centric documentation. You will communicate and help manage expectations, ensuring risks are noted with adequate time, and shared with leadership.
In this role, you will evaluate and prioritise tasks required to successfully support product documentation efforts and keep them on track. You will be prepared to fill gaps that represent risks to the documentation roadmap.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering documentation
- Experience building DOD-focused content in XML
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active US Secret security clearance
Preferred qualifications include experience creating S1000D data modules, MIL-STD-3048 experience, and prior military aviation service.
