As a Data Analyst Intern, you will support the team in designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, analyzing business data, and automating reporting processes. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights, optimizing SQL queries for data management, and contributing to projects across analytics, ETL, and machine learning.
Key responsibilities include: Assist in the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards to visualize key business insights and track performance across multiple business domains. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, understand analytical objectives, and develop effective dashboard solutions. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Write and optimize SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation across large and complex datasets. Support ongoing data and AI research initiatives, including evaluating ChatBI / LLM-to-SQL tools, exploring automated dashboard commentary and data quality monitoring, and assisting with AI-driven exploratory analyses. Document analytical processes, experiments, and findings to maintain knowledge continuity for AI and automation projects. Coordinate with technical teams to understand data flow, system dependencies, and limitations related to sourcing and transforming data. Participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives to modernize reporting, automate routine analytics, and enhance data accessibility for business users.
