Emergency Department Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals at MountainView Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will provide preventative and supportive intra-operative care to patients based on their individual needs. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing nursing care for a wide spectrum of illnesses and injuries, including lifesaving procedures in emergency and trauma situations, as well as chronic medical problems, minor illnesses, and injuries.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for a wide spectrum of illnesses and injuries
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency/Trauma clinical setting
• Participate in organizational and unit-based quality improvement activities
• Maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team
• Support the mission, philosophy, and goals of HCA Hospital

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS
• CPI must be obtained within 90 days from date of hire/transfer
• ENPC must be obtained within 9 months of Hire/Transfer
• Minimum one (1) year acute care hospital Emergency Department experience required
• Minimum two (2) years' experience in an emergency department of an acute care facility preferred
