Description
Apply for the Promotions Ambassador Event Staff role at Michigan International Speedway. As a member of the Street Team, you will assist the Event Marketing department with various activities and events that promote the speedway. Your responsibilities will include interacting with the public, educating them on the speedway's history and information, and collecting prospects for future email campaigns. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading the pace car, ensuring display presentations are neat and organized, and attending in-market events to maximize sales opportunities.
Performance measures will be based on enthusiasm and professionalism displayed during interactions with customers, presentation of displays and materials, compliance with safety regulations, promptness of response to customer service issues, and reliability and dependability.
Required qualifications include post-high school education or equivalent experience, exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, professionalism, and a passion for the sports industry. You must also have competitive nature and a contagious positive attitude, strong time management and organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft applications, and professional appearance and demeanor.
Work requirements include passing company driver's screening to drive company vehicles, having a valid driver's license, and being 21 years of age. Special position requirements include travel, evening, and weekend hours as needed, and potential out-of-town and overnight travel.
