Inpakoperator

We're expanding our chocolate factory in Borsbeek and looking for an Inpakoperator to join our production team. As an Inpakoperator, you'll be responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of the packaging machine, ensuring high productivity and quality. Your work will involve a mix of manual tasks, machine operation, and quality control. You'll work under the supervision of a shift leader and be part of a dynamic team.

Your tasks will include:

• Operating and feeding the packaging machine according to safety and quality standards
• Reporting any irregularities to colleagues, line operators, and shift leaders
• Cleaning the packaging machine and workspace
• Performing manual tasks such as packing, labeling, stacking, and mixing ingredients
• Handling rework and other tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Ability to maintain focus on a fast-moving packaging machine
• Strong emphasis on order, hygiene, and safety, with attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic technical knowledge to detect and troubleshoot minor issues
• Ability to identify and report irregularities to colleagues, technicians, and shift leaders
• Ergonomic working habits, including bending and lifting
• Previous production experience is a plus, but not required; knowledge of chocolate production is a valuable asset
• Fluency in Dutch, as communication with colleagues is essential
• Experience working in a food environment is a plus

Working conditions:

• 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternating shifts (6 am - 2 pm and 2 pm - 10 pm)
• Must be legally allowed to work in Belgium

Salary:
