Description

The Multinational Digital Infrastructure team at Anduril designs, deploys, and sustains sovereign and multinational systems that power Anduril's global Maritime and AUKUS missions. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will design and implement cloud environments enabling Anduril to operate sovereign programmes in Australia and expand capabilities across allied nations.

You will work across engineering, security, and product teams to ensure digital infrastructure is secure, scalable, and ready to support emerging mission demands. You will partner closely with the Australian Government, Defence authorities, and engineering teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise cloud landing zones and infrastructure tooling compliant with ISM and Australian Government regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with teams across the U.S., UK, and allied nations to enable secure connectivity between sovereign cloud environments
  • Partner with Defence authorising officials, cybersecurity teams, and policy shops to navigate accreditation frameworks, break through regulatory barriers, and unlock cross-nation engineering access
  • Implement infrastructure automation (IaC), observability tooling, and secure configuration baselines for scalable, repeatable environment builds
  • Work with product, autonomy, Lattice, and Maritime engineering teams to integrate infrastructure capabilities with platform development, testing and deployment workflows
  • Lead environment standup, troubleshooting, and validation events; ensure classified systems perform reliably in support of mission-critical needs
  • Support development of next-generation secure architectures for multinational development, data sharing, and mission system integration across Maritime platforms
  • Serve as technical representative during customer events, exercises, and operational demonstrations to ensure infrastructure readiness and mission success
  • Contribute to AUKUS and other multinational classified information sharing frameworks

Required qualifications include:

  • Technical depth in cloud infrastructure, secure networking, systems engineering, DevSecOps, platform architecture, cybersecurity, or identity and access management
  • Production experience across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), infrastructure-as-code tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and identity and access management solutions
  • Significant experience in engineering, infrastructure, or technical programme execution, preferably in regulated or defence environments
  • Familiarity with Australian Government regulatory frameworks (ISM, PSPF) and accreditation processes
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (typically 10% annually)
  • Able to obtain and maintain an Australian NV2 security clearance (existing NV2 or equivalent clearance preferred)

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with secure systems engineering or accreditation processes within Australian Defence, allied defence establishments, or critical infrastructure contexts
  • Experience designing or maintaining distributed systems, secure networks, or infrastructure supporting autonomy, AI/ML, or large-scale data workloads
  • Experience working with international defence partners or navigating multi-nation technical, policy, and accreditation workflows
  • Knowledge of AUKUS security frameworks or multinational classified information sharing arrangements
