Description
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Romania. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in building and continuously improving the Cresta platform to support new product requirements.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with our product and engineering teams to develop high-quality system components, staying aligned with customers and their requirements, and optimising platform design and implementation for lower latency, higher throughput, better reliability, and cost reduction.
You will demonstrate engineering best practices and uphold your team to the same high standards. You will grow into technical ownership of significant parts of Cresta's product and platform, and contribute to building a best-in-class product and company.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, at least 10 years of experience in relevant domains, and proficiency in designing and maintaining clear and robust APIs based on a strong understanding of various protocols.
You will also need experience handling real-time streaming data, familiarity with high-performance database schema design and query optimisation, and hands-on experience with one of the major cloud providers.
